Follow these steps to complete your training.

Complete the online course and visit CED Learning Center to complete the skills check-off using an iPad and a manikin.

1. Enroll in course

Click here to go to Saba and register for the online ALS course. Click on the Continue Registration button to request approval to enroll. You will not be able to access the course until the course is approved. Courses are typically approved within 1 business day.

Enrolling in the course on Saba does not book your appointment for the skills check-off (see Step 2).

2. Book appointment for manikin check-off

Use Microsoft Bookings to book your appointment. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Appointments are available Monday through Thursday.

3. Wait for approval email

First, you will receive an email from Saba that the course is pending approval. Once the course is approved, you will receive another email that you have been approved for the course. Click on the link in that approval email to access the online course in HealthStream

4. Complete course and evaluation online

Once approved, log into HealthStream to complete the online course. The course will be on your To-Do list. You must complete the online course and evaluation before completing the check-off.

5. Complete skills check-off with self-service manikin

Arrive at the Learning Center on your appointment date and time to complete the skills check-off. You will need your hStream ID and password to log into the iPad. You will create this in HealthStream before you begin the online course.

The skills check-off must be completed within 90 days of completing the online course.
